Travel
The cost of your session will depend on whether you travel to our rooms or if you need us to come to you.
The House of Contemporary Wisdom understands that traveling can be challenging for some individuals, especially in rural areas. In these cases, we can bring our services to you.
We strive to keep travel costs to a minimum. Therefore, anything outside a 10km radius from our rooms will incur a charge of 85c per km for a round trip. Mileage and charges will be calculated upon request after the first consultation session and before the first session is booked. Note, you can book your first consultation to be via Teams video link if you would find this helpful.

Angelena has worked and lived in several countries around the world. Her career as a CEO has spanned a number of sectors, predominantly in human rights and social support. She specialises in transforming not-for-profit organisations that are failing operationally and financially.

Throughout her journey, she has encountered a wide range of people and over the years has learnt how rich life can be when we learn to master our fears, utilise our skills, and learn the art of communication and influence to find our inner strength and live as the person we want to be. In short, how to be the best version of ourselves.
​
That journey led her to a point in her career where she decided to learn more about the human brain, the subconscious, and the conscious mind, as well as our interactions, communications, and life choices.
​
Angelena trained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, psychologist, therapist, and personal and professional coach, and as a result, Angelena founded "The House of Contemporary Wisdom".
​
The House of Contemporary Wisdom supports people who want changes in their lives, either through Clinical hypnotherapy or through coaching/mentoring.

Personal and professional coaching for individuals and teams, as well as creating unique cultures, is an area Angelena has specialised in over the years. She has met and mentored many talented and innovative people, some of whom may seem "different" to others. Through bespoke coaching and mentoring Angelena can help people find their ‘superpowers’.

Laura is The House of Contemporary Wisdom's friendly receptionist and works tirelessly to ensure that your experience and journey with us is bespoke and tailored to your needs.

Laura has lived and worked in the Clarence Valley for most of her life and knows the area and its people extremely well. She has 25 years of managerial experience in the administrative fields of law, finance, and medicine.
Your first contact with The House of Contemporary Wisdom will be with Laura and she will be your main contact, always available for any questions you may have regarding your treatment or appointments. Nothing is too much trouble.
