What is Menopause
Menopause is a significant life transition for women, often accompanied by various psychological and physical symptoms. The psychological aspects of menopause are primarily related to hormonal fluctuations, particularly the decline in estrogen levels in women, testosterone in men, and serotonin in both . These hormonal changes can lead to mood swings, anxiety, irritability, and even depression. Additionally, physical symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes and sleep disturbances, can further contribute to psychological distress.

Location: Sessions are available in our rooms at Woombah NSW, or at your home/office. The cost of your session is influenced by whether you travel to us or if you require an in-home session.
​
In-Home Sessions: The House of Contemporary Wisdom understands that traveling can be challenging for some individuals, especially in rural areas. In these cases, we can bring our services to you. We strive to keep travel costs to a minimum; therefore, anything outside a 10km radius from our rooms will incur a charge of 85 cents per kilometer for a round trip. Mileage and charges will be calculated upon request after the first consultation session and before the client books their first session.
